Missy Alexander
Principal
Missy Alexander joined Liberty ECS as the Principal in 2021. She previously served as the Assistant Principal at Shawnee, VanGorden and Heritage and as Principal at Heritage before joining Liberty, and has worked in Lakota since 1999. Missy has been in the educational world starting as a teacher in 1991. She is dedicated to serving Liberty’s students and their families and loves making connections with them. Watching children grow as learners and people is the part of her job she enjoys the most. She is available to help families in whatever way necessary to make their child’s time at Liberty successful. Keri Albrinck
Assistant Director Preschool/asst. Principal
Keri Albrinck is the Assistant Principal at Liberty and the Assistant Director of the Lakota Preschool Program. She has served the Lakota Preschool program since 2019; Keri also served the Lakota community as the Assistant Principal at Adena Elementary for 5 years. Prior to her time at Lakota, Keri was a School Psychologist in the Oak Hills Local School District. Keri’s passion is to serve the students and staff at LECS and to provide them with the tools to be most successful.
Maryellen D'Abbene
Office Manager
Maryellen D’Abbene has been the Office Manager at Liberty ECS since 2007 and with Lakota since 2000. Her primary role is to support parents, many of whom have a student in school for the first time, through the daily routines.
Cassie Dailey
Nurse
The school nurse at Liberty ECS (also serving the preschool students at Liberty) is Cassie Dailey. After joining Lakota in 2020, she started at Liberty the following year with more than a decade of nursing experience. Cassie provides health services in the school by treating injuries and illnesses and managing health issues.
Dana Hallgarth
Guidance
Dana Hallgarth is Liberty ECS’ school counselor. She began her career as a Kindergarten teacher. She became a school counselor in 2000 and came to Liberty in 2004. She stayed at Liberty as it transitioned into an Early Childhood School. She loves working with students and families. She provides whole-group lessons as needed, various small groups, and individual counseling to our students. Ashley Oswald
Teacher - Teacher Leader
Ashley Oswald is the Innovation Specialist at Liberty Early Childhood School and Wyandot Early Childhood School. She joined Wyandot in 2007 and Liberty in 2015. Ashley supports teachers with curriculum and technology integration. She also helps plan lessons and activities in the Innovation Hub, alongside the Innovation Hub Aide and classroom teachers.
Mike Williams

Deputy Mike Williams serves the Liberty community as our School Resource Officer. Mike is a retired State Highway Patrolman who joined the Liberty team in 2017. He works with students in many different capacities and helps teachers reinforce safety reminders. He also patrols the building, is instrumental in securing our facility, helps with arrival and dismissal procedures and supports our Liberty students throughout the day.
