In Honor of Second Grade Students
We would like to honor Liberty’s Second Grade Students this year with a Family Picnic Lunch and an Honorary Walk.
Picnic Lunch
Two family members from each family are invited to bring your own Picnic Lunch:
- May 12 – Mrs. Rogers’, Mrs. Cumberledge’s & Mrs. Harpring’s classes
- May 13 – Mrs. Gregory’s, Mrs. Perkins’ & Mrs. Zimmerman’s classes
Please stop by between 12:20 and 1:15 pm on your assigned day to meet up with your child and picnic on the fields. Should it rain, you will picnic in the gym. Please bring blankets and/or chairs to sit on while you picnic!
Also, please RSVP on Parent Square by May 8.
Honorary Walk
On May 20, students will receive a Liberty Leopard Class of 2036 T-shirt and a Liberty Leopard cookie (individually wrapped).
Families are invited to attend an Honorary Walk outside the building cheering our second grade students on to third grade. We ask parents to be at school no later than 1:45 pm. You will be able to take your student home with you after the walk. If you cannot attend, they will follow their regular routine home. You do not need to RSVP to this event.
